Offered is a lot of 11 New York Yankees signed photographs, including Hall of Famers Mariano Rivera, Rickey Henderson, Yogi Berra and Phil Rizzuto. The first item in this lot is a Mariano Rivera signature on a color reproduction of the New York Daily News front page from October 27, 2000. Rivera has signed his name in blue marker over his figure, which is captured as he “jumps for joy after retiring the Mets in the 9th to win 4-2 in Game 5 of the Subway Series.” The 12 x 18-inch display is mounted on a board and has the headline “Yanks Rule!” and the sub-head “Beat Mets to 3-peat as World Champs”. The second item in this lot is a Phil Rizzuto signature and inscription on an 11 x 14-inch black and white posed action photo of the Hall of Famer in his Yankees uniform. Rizzuto has inscribed “Holy Cow” above his signature in blue marker, and inscribed “HOF 94” below his signature in the center of the photo. The third item in this lot is a Phil Rizzuto signature in blue marker on a 12 x 18-inch color poster from “Phil Rizzuto Hall of Fame Day August 13, 1994 Yankees Stadium.” The poster features a reproduction of a 1994 Leroy Neiman painting of the famed Yankee shortstop laying down a bunt in a home game at Yankee Stadium. The back of the white cardstock poster has Rizzuto’s career statistics printed in black ink, as well as the date of his induction at Cooperstown, July 31, 1994.

The fourth item in this lot is a dual-signed photograph of Phil Rizzuto and Jerry Coleman. The former New York Yankees shortstop and second baseman have each signed in blue pen across their figures in the 11 x 14 black and white photograph, which depicts Coleman, at right, with his arm across Rizzuto’s shoulder. The fifth item in this lot is a multi-signed photograph of Bucky Dent touching home plate after his famous (or infamous) home run against the Boston Red Sox in their one-game playoff of October 2, 1978.  Dent has signed the 8 x 10-inch black and white wire service photo in blue marker and inscribed “10-2-78” below his signature, while teammate Roy White (pictured from behind in his number “6” uniform) and Chris Chambliss have signed over their images, also in blue marker, as they welcome him home in the historic 5-4 victory that sent the Yanks into the 1978 American League Championship Series (en route to their win in the 1978 World Series). The sixth item in this lot is a Don Mattingly signature on an 8 x 10-inch color action photo of the former Yankees first baseman. The seventh item in this lot is a Don Larsen signature in blue marker on a reproduction 8 x 10-inch black an white action photo of the former Yankees pitcher on the mound in the top of the ninth, with two outs, one ball and two strikes on the batter en route to his perfect game against the Brooklyn Dodgers in the 1956 World Series. The reproduction also has the box score superimposed to the right of Larsen’s figure.

The eighth item in this lot is a Don Zimmer signature in blue marker in the upper right corner of a 10½ x 13½-inch color cartoon image of the former Yankees coach and Brooklyn Dodgers infielder celebrating his birthday on January 17, 1989. The ninth item in this lot is a Phil Rizzuto signature in blue pen on a black and white reproduction print of an illustrated collage of the former Yankees shortstop’s career. The collage features a head and shoulder portrait of Rizzuto in the center, with an image of him making a play at short and an image of him bunting. The 11 x 14-inch print is mounted in a 16 x 20-inch white cardboard matte with a navy-blue border. The 10th item in this lot is a Rickey Henderson signature and inscription in blue marker on a reproduction color action photo of the former Yankees outfielder. The Hall of Famer has signed his name and inscribed “24” next to his signature. The 14 x 16-inch photo is mounted in an 18 x 20-inch white cardboard matte with navy-blue pinstripes and a navy-blue border. The 11th item in this lot is a dual signed photo of Whitey Ford and Yogi Berra. The Hall of Famers have each signed their names in black marker over their images in New York road uniforms. The 16 x 20-inch black and white photo is inscribed “666/1000” in gold marker in the lower left corner and mounted in a 20 x 24-inch gray cardboard matte with black border. The items in this lot have been pre-certified by Beckett Authentication.
