New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning wore this Giants road uniform during the final game of his second NFL regular season, a 30-21 win over the Oakland Raiders at McAfee Coliseum on December 31st, 2005. Manning passed for 204 yards and hit Plaxico Burress for an inch-perfect 78-yard touchdown pass while playing turnover-free football. Tiki Barber opened the scoring with a 95-yard touchdown run and finished with 203 yards on the ground to give New York a win and the NFC East Division title. Manning, in his first full season as a starter, threw for 3,762 yards and 24 touchdowns for Tom Coughlin’s Giants.

Offered in this lot is Manning’s white Giants road jersey and gray road pants. The jersey features Manning’s number “10” sewn on the chest, back, and shoulders in red tackle twill. “MANNING” is sewn across the back shoulders in red tackle twill over an ovular and matching white nameplate. Reebok logo patches are sewn on both sleeves. A Giants logo patch and a NFL logo patch are sewn on the chest. A Wellington Mara/Preston Tisch memorial patch is also sewn on the chest. A Reebok tag with attached size “50” and “2[inch] L.B.” flags is sewn on the front left tail, while a “05-50” tag is sewn on the back inside collar. The pants in this lot are gray, with red and blue stripes running down each leg. A Reebok patch and a NFL logo patch are sewn on the pants, while a Reebok tag with an attached size “36” flag is sewn inside the pants. An “05” swatch is sewn inside the pants next to a handwritten “10”. The jersey comes with a LOA from Resolution Photomatching that photo matches the jersey to the December 31st game, as well as two LOAs from MeiGray confirming the date and photo match of the uniform.
