The Hall of Fame defensive tackle Dan Hampton wore this white Chicago Bears road jersey circa 1982-83. The Super Bowl XX champion and 1979 first round pick made his first career Pro Bowl in 1982, recording nine sacks in Chicago’s nine-game season. In 1983, Hampton notched five sacks as Mike Ditka’s defense finished the season as the fifth-best defensive unit in the NFL. Hampton played through the 1990 NFL season and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2002.
This offered Bears road jersey is white, with Hampton’s intimidating number “99” printed on the chest, back, and shoulders in navy and orange numerals. “HAMPTON” is printed on the back shoulders in navy and orange lettering over a matching white nameplate. The sleeves are accented with a navy band and a Wilson tag is sewn on the front left tail. A “50” is handwritten on the Wilson tag in black marker. The jersey comes with a PM&G LOA.
