New Orleans Saints bruising fullback Lorenzo Neal wore this white Saints road jersey against the San Francisco 49ers on September 25th, 1994. The second-year fullback took three carries for four yards in this game while blocking for the Saints rushing attack. New Orleans quarterback Jim Everett threw for 291 yards and a touchdown in San Francisco’s 24-13 home win at Candlestick Park. This offered Saints jersey is white, with Neal’s number “22” sewn on the chest, back, and shoulders in gold and black tackle twill. “NEAL” is printed across the back shoulders in black lettering over a matching white nameplate. An NFL 75th Anniversary patch is sewn on the chest of this historic jersey. Also sewn on the jersey are Champion size “50” and Champion “1994” year tags. Neal has signed the first “2” digit on the front of the jersey in black marker, inscribing “+22” in addition to his signature. This jersey comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication for Neal’s signature and an RGU LOA photo matching the jersey to the September 25th contest.
