Each card has been graded by PSA. Presented is a 4-card complete set of R309-1 Goudey Premiums issued in 1934 plus four original mailing envelopes and an original 1934 Goudey wax wrapper. In a creative and ambitious 1934 promotion, Goudey Gum Co. offered a selection of four delectable premiums that were available only by mail in exchange for Goudey baseball wrappers. These very substantial, high-quality pieces were printed on thick cardboard stock and designed with foldout cardboard easel attachments on the reverse sides, thus allowing each card to stand on its own for display. Offered is a complete set of the four classic, 5-1/2" x 9" premiums, which features team cards of the American and National League All-Star teams for 1933 (with Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig), a full-length, "action" pose of Ruth, and a team card of the 1933 World Champion Giants that showcases Carl Hubbell, Mel Ott and "Lefty" O'Doul.
