Tennessee Titans prolific tailback Eddie George wore this blue Titans home jersey for the team’s final two games of the 2001 NFL season. George first wore this jersey against the Cleveland Browns on December 30th, rushing 26 times for 130 yards and two touchdowns as Cleveland won 41-38. The former Ohio State star scored on runs of seven and 20 yards as Phil Dawson’s field goal with under a minute left gave the Browns a narrow win. George rushed for 50 yards and caught one pass for 18 yards against the Bengals in a 23-21 defeat in Week 17 on January 6th, 2002. The four-time Pro Bowler finished the 2001 season with 939 rushing yards and five touchdowns.

This offered Titans home jersey is navy, with light blue shoulders. George’s number “27” is sewn on the chest and back in white and light blue tackle twill, and also on the shoulders in navy and white tackle twill. “GEORGE” is sewn on the back shoulders in white tackle twill over a matching navy nameplate. Titans logo patches and Reebok logo patches are sewn on both sleeves, while a Titans wordmark and a NFL logo patch are sewn on the chest. An “01-46” swatch is sewn on the back inside collar. A Reebok tag is sewn on the front left tail. Team repairs are present on the jersey, and numerous black Velcro patches are sewn on the tail of the jersey. This jersey comes with a LOA from Resolution Photomatching that photo matches the jersey to the two games.
