Under head coach Bo Schembechler, the 1982 Michigan Wolverines football team posted an 8-4 overall record, but went a near-perfect 8-1 in the Big Ten, tops in the conference. Running back Lawrence Ricks rushed for 1,388 yards while averaging 5.2 yards per carry. Wide receiver Anthony Carter recorded 844 receiving yards on the strength of a whopping 19.6 yards per catch average. Presented here is a 1982 Michigan Wolverines “Big Ten Champions” 10K gold ring pendant, featuring the school’s style “M” set on a blue stone. “BIG TEN CHAMPIONS” reads in relief work around the bezel setting. This item is a pendant top that was made into a ring, and the back of the ring/band is badly dented. Marked “NJA 1982 10K”, this item weighs approximately 16.2 grams.
