The 1996-97 NBA season was another championship season for Hall of Famer Michael Jordan as he played his penultimate eason with the Chicago Bulls and added to his Windy City legacy by leading the Bulls to a 69-13 regular season record and their fifth NBA Title in seven years. Jordan’s led the league in scoring for the second year in a row and ninth time overall with a 29.6 points per game average and also earning the NBA Finals MVP.

Offered here is a Chicago Bulls home warmup set worn by Michael Jordan during the 1996-97 season. The jacket is snap button-down white with black panels on the sides and lower arms with red borders. The Bulls’ logo with “CHICAGO BULLS” in black is on the upper left chest. The Champion logo patch is on the left sleeve and the “NBA 50” logo is on the right sleeve. The NBA logo is embroidered on the upper right chest. The back of this jacket has a large Bulls logo patch and the Champion tag has a “DESIGNED & TAILORED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHICAGO BULLS BODY LENGTH +1 SLEEVE LENGTH +5” tag, next to a size 50 tag. Jordan’s number “23” is handwritten in black marker on the size tag. Jordan has signed his name in black marker on the upper right chest.

The pants are a matching white with black panels with red borders on both legs. Manufactured by Champion, these pants have snap buttons on the bottom of each leg and the inner waistband contains a “DESIGNED & TAILORED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHICAGO BULLS RISE +2 INSEAM 37” tag, next to a size 36 tag. Jordan’s number “23” is handwritten in black marker on the size tag. These pants display solid use. This warmup set comes with a LOA from MEARS for the use and a LOA from Beckett Authentication for Jordan’s signature.
