The Hall of Fame right tackle Ron Yary wore this white Minnesota Vikings road jersey circa 1973. Yary, the first overall pick in the 1968 NFL Draft out of USC, played 14 of his 15 NFL seasons for the Vikings and missed only two games during his time with Minnesota. Yary was a seven-time Pro Bowler and six-time First Team All-Pro, as well as an NFL champion in 1969 after the Vikings defeated the Cleveland Browns 27-7 in Minnesota’s Metropolitan Stadium. Yary retired after spending the 1982 season with the Los Angeles Rams, and was inducted into both the College and Pro Football Hall Fame.
This offered Vikings road jersey is white, with Yary’s number “73” printed on the chest, back, and shoulders in purple numerals. “YARY” is printed across the back shoulders in purple lettering over a matching white nameplate. A Kokesh Athletic Supply tag and a Sand-Knit size “52” tags are sewn on the front left tail. Purple-yellow-purple stripes are present on both sleeves. This jersey displays numerous team repairs and comes with a PMG LOA.
