Philadelphia Eagles Hall of Fame receiver and defensive end Pete Pihos wore this green Eagles home jersey circa 1948. Pihos led the Eagles to NFL titles in 1948 and 1949, his second and third NFL seasons, as a key part of the Philadelphia offense. Pihos caught 46 passes for 766 yards and a career-high 11 touchdowns in 1948 as the Eagles finished 9-2-1 and defeated the Chicago Cardinals 7-0 in the NFL Championship Game. Pihos played his entire nine season NFL career in Philadelphia, making six Pro Bowls and five First Team All-Pro squads. The former Indiana Hoosier was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1970.

This offered Eagles jersey is green with white shoulders and a white stripe down the sleeves. Pihos’ number “35” is sewn on the chest and back in white tackle twill. A crotch strap is attached, with a MacGregor size “44” tag sewn on the strap. This historic and rare jersey comes with a LOA from PM&G. There is also a letter of provenance from Luciana DeCrosta, who details in his letter about being an "unofficial" equipment manager for the Philadelphia A's and Eagles and was gifted this jersey.
