Atlanta Braves second baseman Ozzie Albies had his breakout season in 2018 when he was selected to his first All-Star Game and finished the season with 24 home runs and 72 RBI. Albies help lead the Braves to the National League East Division title. This offered batting helmet was worn by Albies in the 2018 season and has been authenticated by MLB Authentication to the September 5th game against the Red Sox and the October 7th game against the Dodgers. Both games were played at the brand-new SunTrust Park and the October 7 game was the first ever postseason game at the new park. This helmet is dark blue with a red brim and a white “A” in Braves’ font on the front. The helmet is a size 7 ¼ and was manufactured by Rawlings. There is an earflap over the left ear for right-handed batters and the back has Albies’ number “1” white decal, along with the MLB logo decal to the left and a “POSTSEASON” sticker to the right. The interior padding is all black and the Rawlings and Majestic tags are on the interior padding. This helmet displays excellent game use with abrasion marks throughout and it comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (JD130516) for the game use and authenticated to the September 5th and October 7th games.
