Offered here are three game issued pants from former New York Mets and New York Yankees’ pitching coach Mel Stottlemyre. The first pair of pants were from Stottlemyre’s last season as Mets’ pitching coach in 1993. The pants are home white with blue pinstripes and were made by Russell Athletic. The inner waist has the Russell Athletic size 36 tag and the team patch that reads “30 STOTTLEMYRE 36P-28-93R-3” in blue. Stottlemyre has signed these pants in blue marker and inscribed “1993” on the upper left front leg.

The second pair of pants are from the 1999 season when Stottlemyre was pitching coach for the Yankees. These pants are the home white with navy pinstripes with the Russell Athletic size 36 tag sewn on the inside back waist. The team tag is also sewn on the inside back waist and has faded printing that reads “STOTTLEMYRE 36/38-30-99”. Stottlemyre has signed these pants in blue marker and inscribed “1999” on the upper left front leg. The final pair come from the 2000 season with the Yankees. These pants are the home white with navy pinstripes with the Russell Athletic size 38 tag sewn on the inside back waist. The team tag is also sewn on the inside back waist and has printing that reads “STOTTLEMYRE 37/40-30-00”. Stottlemyre has signed these pants in blue marker on the upper left front leg.
