Graded MINT 9 by PSA. A key 1919 "Black Sox" subject. This is one of four examples at its tier (with just one graded higher) among a total of thirty-eight copies recorded in PSA's census reporting. With only a few exceptions, the subjects in the 1913 WG6 Tom Barker baseball cards, from which the offered showpiece emanates, are identical to those of the WG5 National Game set, but it should be noted that the Tom Barker version is much more scarce. The specimen presented here boasts fantastic presentation quality, and constitutes an incredibly impressive, career-contemporary memento of a fabled individual. Elite Mint condition.
