The 1949 edition of the New York Yankees defeated the Brooklyn Dodgers for their 12th World Series title. More impressively, the 1949 Championship would be the first of a record five consecutive World Series titles for the Bronx Bombers. Offered here is an Official American League Bobby Brown stamped baseball that has been signed by 14 members of the 1949 World Champion New York Yankees. This was a reunion signing and features the signatures of Hall of Famers Joe DiMaggio (on the sweet spot), Johnny Mize, Enos Slaughter and Bill Dickey. Other signatures include Spec Shea, Hank Bauer, Charlie Keller, Tommy Byrne, Vic Raschi, Gene Woodling, Allie Reynolds, Ed Lopat, Joe Collins and Marius Russo. The ball displays light toning and the signatures have all been signed in black pen. There are slight blemishes on the ball, but do not affect the signatures. This ball comes with a LOA from JSA.
