This collectible hails from its issue's scarcer "High Number" series. The Sporting News All-Star cards, the very last pieces in the 1961 Topps set, were the ideal finale for a year of collecting. It was only fitting, too, that the specially themed, full-color items, highlighting the game's biggest stars, enjoy a measure of exclusivity beyond the "regular" cards in the set. A praiseworthy example of the most desirable piece in its popular subset, in Near Mint to Mint condition.
