Presented is a 2017 President Donald Trump Inauguration stationery gift set for guests of the Four Seasons Hotel in Washington, D.C. during the ceremonies on January 20, 2017. This stationery gift set is from the collection of Sam Sutton, who worked in the White House as a personal valet to President Clinton, President George W. Bush and President Barack Obama. The 2 x 9 x 12-inch presentation box is features a navy-blue leatherette front and back cover and spine to look like a hardcover book, with gold embossed accents including the great seal of the United States on the front cover and the logo of the Four Seasons Hotel Washington, D.C. on the back cover. The edges of the box are blue marbled paper. The interior of the box features 5 x 7-inch ivory cards and envelopes and a light blue-shelled ballpoint pen displayed in a marbled blue-paper box with a blue-cloth interior on the lid. The stationery box includes a 7 x 11-inch vellum sheet with the seal of the United States inscribed in gold and the legend “The 58th Presidential Inaugural Commemorating the Inauguration of Donald John Trump as President of the United States and Michael Richard Pence as Vice President of the United States on January 20, 2017 in the City of Washington” in black calligraphy. The presentation box is accompanied by a 3 x 10½ x 13-inch blue cardboard box with the Four Seasons Hotel Washington, D.C. logo inscribed in gold on the lid. This item comes with a letter of provenance from Samuel Sutton.
