Presented is a Derek Jeter signature on a replica New York Yankees road jersey which features a hand-painted image of the former Yankees shortstop at bat by artist Gregg Packer on the back.  The all-time Yankees hits leader has signed his name in silver marker on the navy-blue tackle-twill number “2” on the back of the gray jersey. At the left side of the number is a hand-painted, full-color image of Jeter at bat in a road Yankees uniform, swinging (and probably connecting) with his feet poised to sprint out of the batter’s box. The artist, Gregg Packer, has inscribed his name and “’03” to the right of the image. Below the number and the painting is inscribed, in navy-blue thread, the caption “DEREK JETER Major League Debut May 29, 1995 1996 AL Rookie of the Year 2000 World Series & All Star MVP Yankee Team Captain June 3, 2003 4 Time W.S.
