Offered is a signature and inscription from the late author Dr. Seuss – a.k.a. Theodor Seuss Geisel – on a hardcover copy of the catalogue to an exhibit dedicated to his works at the San Diego Museum of Art in 1986. The author has inscribed “For Charles McElroy with Many Thanks! Dr. Seuss” in black marker on the fly page of the book. The book, published by Random House in 1986, reproduces selected artwork and writing. The full-color book jacket, with the title “Dr. Seuss from Then to Now”, is in very good condition except for a 4-inch horizontal cut in the back center of the jacket. The interior of the book is crisp and clear with no obvious defects. This item comes with a full LOA from JSA (Z72448).
