Before being traded by the New York Yankees to the Texas Rangers in July of 2016, Carlos Beltran collected his 1,000th career extra base hit, becoming only the fourth switch-hitter in Major League history to achieve this milestone. He joined Mickey Mantle, Eddie Murray and Chipper Jones as the only switch hitters with 400 home runs and 1,000 extra base hits. Beltran would go on to hit .295 with 29 homers and 93 RBI before the season was out. His 2016 Rawlings CB model bat is un-cracked and shows light use. The barrel displays several ball marks and abrasions. The bats spec’s and Beltran’s initials “CB” are stamped into the knob end. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B12023) for the game use.
