The Cleveland Indians ran away with the American League Central Division title and baseball’s best record in 1995 thanks in large part to their dynamic offense. Winning 100 games in the lockout-shortened season, the catalyst for that great offensive team was leadoff hitter Kenny Lofton. Lofton’s .310 average and blazing speed set the table for the big guns of Albert Belle, Manny Ramirez and Hall of Famer Jim Thome.
Lofton wore this white, button-down Russell Athletic size 46 home Indians jersey during the 1995 season. This jersey has “Indians” and a paraph sewn across the chest in red and navy tackle twill. A Jacob’s Field patch is sewn on the right sleeve and a Chief Wahoo patch is sewn on the left. Red piping runs around the collar and down both sides of the buttons and on each sleeve end. “LOFTON” is sewn across the back shoulders in red and navy tackle twill over a matching white nameplate and his number “7” is sewn on the back of the jersey in red and navy tackle twill. A Russell Athletic size “46” and a “95” tags are sewn on the front left tail. This jersey displays light game use and Lofton has signed his name in black marker on the front left center and inscribed “#7”. This jersey comes with a LOA from 100% Authentic for the game use and a COA from JSA for the signature.
