Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick was one of the top QB’s in the league and in 2012 as he came off the bench to post a 5-2 record and helped lead San Francisco back to the Super Bowl. While wearing these photo matched hi-top cleats, Kaepernick led San Francisco to a 27-13 victory over the Miami Dolphins at Candlestick Park. Kaepernick completed 18 of 23 passes for 185 yards and ran for 55 yards on the ground, scoring a touchdown. Kaepernick also wore these cleats the following week at New England when he threw four touchdown passes in the 49ers 41-34 win in Foxboro.

These red with gold trim Nike cleats display solid game use with abrasion and dirt marks. The outsides of the shoes are red with a white Nike swoosh, while the inner portion of these cleats are gold with a red Nike swoosh. Kaepernick has signed these gamers in black marker on the outside gold trim located at the ankles and inscribed “7”. These cleats come with a LOA from Resolution Photomatching (426489) who have photo matched these cleats to the December 9, 2012 game. There are individual LOAs from PSA/DNA (T07025 & T07026) for his signatures.

Also included in this lot is a glove for the left hand (his non-throwing hand) made by Reebok. The glove is mostly black, with white trim on the backhand and outer thumb. The NFL EQUIPMENT patch is sewn on the backhand and Kaepernick signed this glove in silver marker on the black palms, inscribing “7”. This glove shows solid game use. This glove comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (T07024) for his signature. There is an additional letter of provenance signed by Kaepernick attesting that he wore both the cleats and the glove during the December 16, 2012 game against New England. There is also a LOA from JSA (X84019) that authenticates Kaepernick’s signatures on both cleats and the glove.
