Presented is a Rogers Hornsby signature on an index card, in a framed display along with a photograph of the Hall of Fame second baseman and manager. Hornsby has signed his name in blue pen on a 2½ x 4¼-inch cut from a blue-lined white paper index card. The Hornsby-signed cut is mounted below a 7 x 9-inch black and white head and shoulder photo of Hornsby in a St. Louis Cardinals uniform. Hornsby played for the Cardinals (1915–1926, 1933), New York Giants (1927), Boston Braves (1928), Chicago Cubs (1929–1932), and St. Louis Browns (1933–1937). He was named the National League’s MVP twice (1925, 1929), and was a member of one World Series championship team (1926 Cardinals). The signed cut and photo are mounted on a black paper matte and displayed in a 13 x 19½-inch brown wood and glass frame. There are minor scratches on the upper left corner of the frame. This item comes with a full LOA from JSA (B25696).
