Offered here is an official 1952 All-Star Game program that was signed on-site by 48 players and comes from the collection of Whalen Monica. In 1948 Monica worked with production companies covering the World Series and All-Star Games. His effort would eventually lead him to positions with "This Week in Baseball" and MLB Productions. The 1952 Mid Summer Classic was played at Shibe Park in Philadelphia and won by the National League 3-2, This program is mostly blue in front with the All-Star Game Liberty Bell logo in red in the top left corner and images of the two mangers Casey Stengel of the New York Yankees and Leo Durocher of the New York Giants. “NATIONAL LEAGUE vs. AMERICAN LEAGUE” is printed in white and in the white section below is printed in red “OFFICIAL SOUVENIR BOOK * FIFTY CENTS”. The signatures include Hall of Famers Jackie Robinson, Roy Campanella, Nellie Fox, Satchel Paige, Tom Yawkey, Joe Cronin, Leo Durocher, Pee Wee Reese, Duke Snider, Yogi Berra, Bob Lemon, Stan Musial, Phil Rizzuto, Enos Slaughter, Warren Spahn, Ralph Kiner, Robin Roberts and Red Schoendienst.
