This is an 8.5” x 12” sturdy sepia-colored, cardboard advertisement for a brand of over shirts called “JERSEY OVERSHIRT.” The ad pictures men of various professions and sports wearing this brand and going about their activities. In the upper right corner is a baseball image of a man with a bat waiting for his turn to hit, proudly wearing his Jersey Overshirt. Other images show a construction worker, a hunter and tennis players. From the border along the top and right hand side, this appears to be a “cut” from a much larger advertising piece. Hand cut item with edge wear and light staining and the remnants of a printed number in the upper left portion of the shield. The reverse has damage including tape residues, stains, creasing and paper loss. However, the creases do not protrude to the front.
