Los Angeles Lakers guard Ron Harper wore this purple Lakers road jersey during the 2001 NBA Finals against the Philadelphia 76ers. Harper, playing in his final NBA season, appeared in three games during the Finals, playing in Game 2, Game 4, and Game 5, as the Lakers won the title in five games. Harper scored eight points, with four rebounds and two assists, in the Lakers’ 100-86 win at the First Union Center in Game 4. Harper averaged 13.8 points per game and won five NBA Finals in his 15-season career.
This offered Lakers jersey features “LAKERS” across the chest in yellow and white, while “HARPER” is sewn across the back shoulders in yellow and white tackle twill. Harper’s number “4” is sewn on the chest and back in white and yellow tackle twill. An NBA Finals patch and an NBA logo patch are sewn on the chest, while a Nike size “48” tag with an attached “Length +4” flag is sewn on the front left tail. Harper has signed the “4” digit on the back of the jersey in black marker. The jersey comes with a Harper LOA for the game use and a COA from JSA for Harper’s signature.
