As the best linebacker of his era, Mike Singletary made the Pro Bowl ten consecutive seasons, a franchise record for the Chicago Bears. “Samurai Mike” brought the same drive and intimidation to the Pro Bowl every year he played, 1983 to 1992, and it is no coincidence that his NFC teams went undefeated in every game. This Pro Bowl game worn jersey appears to be from the 1986 or 1987 Pro Bowl; it has not been possible to be sure due to the lack of tagging or labels. The blue mesh jersey has “NATIONAL” and Singletary’s number “50” on the front in white applique. The bottom hem of the jersey has been cut off along with the manufacturer’s label. A cleaning label is sewn inside along the inseam on the interior. Each shoulder has a number “50” in white applique and a red and white stripe at the sleeve end. The ends of the sleeve have been shortened. The back features “SINGLETARY” above his number “50” in white applique. The Hall of Famer has signed the “5” on the back in black marker, adding “HOF 98.” The jersey shows good game use with visible abrasion scuffs from contact and turf marks. This jersey comes with a signed LOA from Mike Singletary.
