Former San Francisco 49ers tight end Russ Francis wore this home red 49ers jersey circa 1982-85, his second stint with the club after taking the year off in 1981. This red mesh jersey was manufactured by Wilson and is a size 42. Francis’ number “81” is screen-printed on the front, back and sleeves in white. “FRANCIS” is screen-printed in white on a matching red mesh nameplate and the sleeves have three white stripes screen-printed below the numbers. The Wilson size 42 tag is sewn on the front left tail. This jersey displays light wear with slight peeling of the “8” on the back and comes with a LOA from MEARS, who have graded the jersey an A5.
