Former defensive back Bobby Williams wore this white St. Louis Cardinals jersey during the 1966 season, his first in the league. Williams played two seasons with the Cardinals before finishing his career with three seasons with the Detroit Lions. This white jersey is made of cotton and features Williams’ number “45” printed in burgundy on the front, back and shoulders. Burgundy and black stripes are on the sleeves and the Champion Knitwear Co., Inc. Rochester, N.Y. size 48 tag is sewn on the bottom front left tail. The jersey has ¾-length sleeves and displays moderate game use. There is light staining and fading on the sleeve stripes, along with contact marks on the right shoulder and near the “5” on the front. This jersey comes with a LOA from RGU for the game use.
