Minnesota Vikings quarterback Daunte Culpepper wore this home purple jersey during the 2005 NFL season, his final in Minnesota. Culpepper, who in 2004 set a then-NFL single-season record for most combined rushing and passing yards, led the Vikings to a 23-20 victory over the Green Bay Packers on October 23, 2010 on a last-second 56-yard field goal by Paul Edinger. Culpepper finished the game going 23 of 31 for 280 yards and two touchdowns, along with 41 yards rushing on seven carries.
This Reebok size 48 mesh jersey has been photo matched by Resolution Photomatching to the October 23rd, 2005 game. Culpepper’s number “11” is sewn on the front, back, and shoulders in white and yellow tackle twill. “CULPEPPER” is sewn across the back shoulders in white and yellow tackle twill over a matching purple nameplate. Viking and Reebok patches are sewn on each sleeve, while a Vikings 45th Anniversary patch is sewn on the left chest. An NFL Equipment patch is sewn on the base of the V-neck collar, and two metal buttons are affixed to the back tail of the jersey. The sleeves have yellow and white stripes screen-printed on the ends and the white team tags that read “05-48” and “Q” are sewn on the inside back collar. This jersey displays moderate game use and comes with a STICKER ONLY from NFL-PSA/DNA (1N20062), who authenticate that his jersey was worn by Culpepper during the 2005 season and a LOA from Resolution Photomatching (426400), who have photo matched this jersey to the October 23, 2005 game.
