Offered here are a pair of black shin guards worn by Hall of Fame catcher Mike Piazza during his time with the New York Mets. Piazza played with the Mets from 1998 through 2005, making seven All-Star teams and hitting 220 of his 427 homers with the ball club. In 2016, Piazza was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame. These all-black shin guards with gray trim were made by Rawlings and display outstanding game use. There are scuff and scratch marks all over both knees and on the shins, with one guard having more marks on the upper shin. Each shin guard has an Easton knee protector placed on the back shins. They have “31” printed in black. The straps are blue and the side guard is gray with blue borders. These come with a LOA from J.T. Sports for the game use.
