2018 Hall of Fame inductee Chipper Jones wore this white Atlanta Braves home jersey during the 1996 regular season and was made game ready for the World Series. Jones, the 1999 National League MVP, was the driving force behind a powerful Atlanta offense in 1996, hitting for a .309 batting average with 30 longballs and a team-high 110 RBI. The Florida native, along with the Braves trio of Hall of Fame starting pitchers, propelled the Braves to one of their MLB-record 12 consecutive division titles in 1996. The Braves reached the World Series for the second consecutive year, where they faced the New York Yankees. The Braves fought the Yankees tooth and nail but were ultimately unable to defend their World Series title in a thrilling six game Fall Classic. Jones finished the series with a .286 batting average, as well as three RBI and three runs scored.
