For the third straight season, Hall of Famer Tom Glavine led the National League in wins with 22 as his 1993 season also saw him finish with a 3.20 ERA and an NL-high 36 starts. Glavine and the Braves won the National League West for the third straight season, before falling to the upstart Phillies in the NLCS. Glavine wore this Wilson size 42 Atlanta Braves home button-down jersey during the 1993 season. Sewn on diagonally across the front in red and navy tackle twill is “Braves” in script with a tomahawk paraph that has additional gold stitching accents. Navy/red/navy piping runs around the collar and down both sides of the buttons and on the sleeve ends. The Wilson manufacturer’s tag is sewn on the bottom front left tail, with overlaid “42” and “F0” flags. An additional “93” tag is sewn on below the Wilson tag. The back has “GLAVINE” sewn on in navy tackle twill on a matching white nameplate with his number “47” sewn on in red and navy tackle twill. This jersey displays moderate game use with some yellowing and minor sweat stains on the interior linen lining. There is light wash wear and puckering around the edges of the nameplate. This jersey comes with a LOA from Sports Investors Authentication (191114E4) for the game use.
