The Atlanta Braves second baseman Ozzie Albies made baseball history in 2018 by becoming the youngest player to hit two grand slam home runs in one season. Those two record breaking homers were just two of the 24 he would hit that year, batting a smooth .305 and getting the nod to his first All-Star Game appearance. Used during that history-making 2018 season, Albies’ Marucci DS7-M model bat displays great game use. The barrel shows many ball marks with stitch impressions along with blue ink transfers and bat rack paint streaks. The handle has a moderate coat of pine tar and the knob has been stamped with the bat’s specs. Albies’ number “1” has been handwritten on both ends in silver and black marker. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B18658) for the game use and a LOA from Beckett Authentication.
