Gary Sheffield, the journeyman 500 Home Run Club member, used this bat during the 1993-1995 seasons split between the San Diego Padres and Florida Marlins. During that three-year period Sheffield hit 63 home runs and batted just a hair-shy of the .300 mark. Sheff’s Louisville Slugger C271 model bat shows tremendous game use. The barrel is covered with many ball marks with stitch impressions and abrasions. The knob has his number “10” handwritten on the knob and a heavy coat of pine tar is on the handle. Sheffield has signed the barrel in contrasting silver pen, adding his number, “10.”  This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B18650) for the game use and a LOA from Beckett Authentication (A23667) for the signature.
