Former linebacker Takeo Spikes wore this road white Cincinnati Bengals jersey during the October 15, 2000 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Three Rivers Stadium. Spikes had nine total tackles (7 solo) in Bengals 15-0 loss. This white mesh jersey was made by Puma and has Spikes’ number “51” sewn on in black and orange tackle twill on the front, back and shoulders. An orange mesh strip is on each shoulder with black painted Bengal stripes and the Bengals logo patch is sewn on each sleeve. The black V-neck collar has the NFL shield patch sewn on its base and the Puma tag with “50” and “6”L.B.” flags is sewn on the bottom front left tail. A white team tag with “00-50” is sewn on the inside back collar. The back has “SPIKES” sewn on in black and orange tackle twill on a matching white nameplate. This jersey displays heavy game use with numerous abrasion marks and paint transfers. This jersey comes with a LOA from RGU for the game use and have photo matched this jersey to the October 15, 2000 game.
