It’s a classic case of “what might have been” for Russian goalie Vladislav Tretiak. Widely regarded as the greatest goaltender of all-time, Tretiak never played in the NHL due the Communist regime of the Soviet Union. The Hall of Famer still had a historic career as he led the Soviet Union to three Gold Medals in the 1972, 1976 and 1984 Olympics and led the Soviets to 10 World Championships from 1970-1983. The legend Tretiak has signed his name in black marker on this Brian’s Kevlar Ultra goalie stick. Tretiak signed his name on the lower corner and added his famous number “20”. This stick has puck marks and is taped on the upper handle and lower handle where it connects to the paddle. This comes with a COA from Beckett Authentication for Tretiak’s signature.
