The hulking defensive lineman Deforest Buckner wore this gray Oregon Ducks road jersey in his final collegiate game, the 2016 Valero Alamo Bowl at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Oregon matched up against the Texas Christian University Horned Frogs, with both teams ranked in the top 15 of the AP Poll. This game was a three-overtime thriller, with TCU earning the 47-41 victory after an eight-yard touchdown run from Bram Kohlhausen. TCU came back from a 31-0 halftime deficit, tied for the biggest comeback in bowl history. Buckner finished the game with seven tackles, a sack, and a TFL. The 6’7” lineman ended his senior season with 10.5 sacks, 17.0 TFL, and 83 tackles before the San Francisco 49ers chose the four-year standout with the seventh overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.
This offered Oregon road jersey is gray, with Buckner’s number “44” sewn on the chest, back, and shoulders in green and yellow tackle twill. “BUCKNER” is printed across the back shoulders in green lettering over a matching gray nameplate. An Alamo Bowl patch, a Pac-12 patch, an Oregon “O” patch, and a Nike swoosh are sewn on the chest of the jersey. “MEN OF OREGON” is sewn on the back inside collar. Buckner has signed the first “4” digit on the front of the jersey, while he inscribed “Alamo Bowl” on the second “4”. This jersey has been photo matched to the Alamo Bowl by Resolution Photomatching, who have provided a LOA. Additionally, a LOA from Beckett Authentication Services covers Buckner’s signature.
