Tampa Bay Rays rookie outfielder Wil Myers had to be ticked off when the handle broke on his MaxBat Model WM1, Pro Maple bat. It looks like he had some pretty good whacks with this one. There are plenty of blue-ink ball marks and stitching nicely grouped on the sweet spot of the barrel. Myers wrapped some adhesive tape around the knob and there’s plenty of thick pine tar along the first six inches of the handle right below the break. Myers singled and drove in a run during the June 25, 2013 game in which he used this bat which has also been photo-matched to the June 24th game where he homered,and comes with MLB authentication hologram sticker #EK523046.
