Game worn jersey from the Edmonton Oilers and Pittsburgh Penguins NHL contest held on January 14th, 2010 at Rexall Place. Televised on TSN from coast to coast the Oilers held a two to nothing lead after forty minutes on Sidney Crosby and the 2009 Stanley Cup Champions before losing a heartbreaker 3-2 to the visitors from Pittsburgh. On this night the team wore a brand new set of Oilers royal blue and orange jerseys which were worn for this game only and for the purposes of being auctioned off in support of charity! These RBK made Oilers jerseys features a team set tag sewn into the inside bottom hem that reads "Jan 14th, 2010 vs Pittsburgh". In addition there is an NHL / MeiGray Group Game-Worn Jersey Inventory tag (#G09854) sewn into the inside bottom left hem. Tagging inside the collar includes a Made in Canada Size 58 tag (Goalie Style) and a label from the jersey cresting company Elite Sportswear. This particular jersey was worn by Oilers starting goaltender Devan Dubnyk and is crested with his #40 and surname on the back. As is to be expected the game wear is light considering the jersey was worn for only the one game but it is evident and includes a few nice scattered puck marks. One shows up on the front crest and a couple more nice large dark marks appear on both lower sleeves. Finally as an added bonus the jersey has been nicely autographed by Devan Dubnyk on the back number making it ready for display in your Oilers memorabilia collection! In addition to the set tag certification mentioned above the jersey comes complete with a Letter of Authenticity from the Edmonton Oilers Hockey Club.
