When Hall of Fame manager George Lee “Sparky” Anderson retired as manager in 1995, he left baseball as the third most winningest manager of all-time, only behind Connie Mack and John McGraw. Sparky was also the first manager to win the World Series with both an American League and National League team. Anderson finished his Hall of Fame career with a 2,194-1,834 record and three World Series titles.
