In his second full season with the Marlins in 2005, third baseman Miguel Cabrera put up numbers that looked like a carbon copy of those he posted the previous summer; 33 home runs, 116 RBI, and a .323 average while making his second All-Star appearance and winning his first Silver Slugger Award. The Zinger 24 model bat displays heavy use with a broken handle. There is a piece of wood missing from the handle which has been secured with a ring of black adhesive tape. The barrel is covered with ball marks with stitch impressions and white leather ball scuffs. There are cleat imprints visible and a moderate coat of pine tar on the lower handle. The barrel end has Cabrera’s number “24” handwritten in black marker. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B18705) for the game use.
