Green Bay Packers defensive back Doug Hart wore this green Packers home jersey during the 1968 NFL season. Hart was an ironman in the defensive backfield for Vince Lombardi’s Packers, appearing in every game for the franchise from the time he debuted in 1964 through his retirement just before the 1972 season. Hart recorded one of his 15 career interceptions in 1968, picking off Bears quarterback Jack Concannon in a thrilling 28-27 Packers win at Wrigley Field.
This offered Packers home jersey is green, with Hart’s number “43” sewn on the chest, back, and shoulders in white tackle twill. A Sand-Knit size “44” tag is sewn on the front left tail and a small “44” size tag is sewn on the back inside collar. This jersey features numerous team repairs. Hart has signed the “4” digit on the chest of the jersey in black marker, inscribing “#43” and “My Gamer” in addition to his signature. This jersey comes with a LOA from MEARS for the game use and has graded the jersey a perfect A10, plus a LOA from JSA for the signature.
