Drazen Petrovic was considered one of the rising young stars in the NBA when his life was tragically cut short in a 1993 car crash at the age of 28. “Petro” won two silver medals and bronze medal during his Olympic career and was part of the first wave of European players to establish themselves in the NBA.

Petrovic wore this blue New Jersey Nets’ uniform (jersey and shorts) during the 1990-91 season. The jersey is a Champion size 44 blue spray-painted patterned mesh jersey with “NETS” and his number “3” sewn on in red, blue and white tackle twill on the front. The NBA logo is sewn on upper left chest and the Champion 44 and “Custom Designed and Sewn for NEW JERSEY NETS YEAR 90 SLEEVE LENGTH 0 BODY LENGTH +2” tags are sewn on the bottom left front tail. The back has “PETROVIC” and “3” sewn on in red, blue and white tackle twill. The sides of the jersey have red and white vertical stripes and the collar and sleeve openings have red and white border stripes.

The mesh shorts are a matching blue spray-painted pattern with the Nets’ logo on the lower left leg and the NBA logo on the lower right leg. The expandable waist is blue and the sides have a red stripe with white borders. The Champion 34 and “Custom Designed and Sewn for NEW JERSEY NETS YEAR 90 RISE 0 INSEAM 0” tags are sewn on the inside back waist. Petrovic’s number “3” is handwritten in black marker on the “NEW JERSEY NETS” tag. The jersey and shorts come with a LOA from 100% Authentic for the game use.
