Longtime minor league general manager Stan Naccarato oversaw the Tacoma franchises that were prominent feeders of talent to the late 1970’s New York Yankees and to the Oakland A’s in the early 1990’s. Naccarato passed away in 2016, but left a lasting legacy in the city Tacoma and for the Rainiers’ franchise. Offered here is a garment bag that was owned by Naccarato, along with six patches that were removed from jerseys. This navy garment bag has the Yankees’ logo embroidered on one of the two white pockets in the front. “Stan Naccarato” is embroidered in white above the top white pocket. There’s a “Western Airlines” baggage identification sticker on the lower white pocket. The back of the garment bag is all navy and this bag shows excellent use. Also included in this lot are six Yankees’ logo patches that were worn by the Rainiers as part of their affiliation with the New York ballclub. The patches range in condition, with all of them having loose or pulled stitching. A great collection from one of the most beloved figures in the city of Tacoma, Washington.
