Offered here is an early 20th century gray flannel baseball uniform – jersey and pants. Based on the style, this appears similar in style from the Philadelphia Phillies uniforms between 1915 - 1920. This road uniform’s jersey is a partial pullover with four buttons on the top and manufactured by Spalding. “P” is sewn on in navy felt on the upper left chest. The Spalding tag is sewn on the inside back collar. There is no number on the back and the sleeves are about ¾ length. This jersey displays heavy game use with dirt and soiling stains present. The matching gray flannel pants also show heavy use with numerous dirt stains and other blemishes. “34” is handwritten in faded black ink on the on the inside. There are also team repairs.
