The 2000 Baltimore Ravens had one of the most dominant defenses of all-time and have often been compared to the might 1985 Chicago Bears defense. The Ravens were led by Hall of Fame linebacker Ray Lewis, whose play in the 2000 season invoked memories of another Hall of Fame linebacker in Lawrence Taylor. Lewis and his Ravens steamrolled through the AFC playoffs and soundly defeated the New York Giants in Super Bowl XXXV.
This offered Ravens’ jersey is a white mesh made by Nike and is a size 50. Lewis’ number “52” is sewn on the front, back and shoulders in purple, gold and black tackle twill. “RAVENS” is embroidered on the front above the number and the black V-neck collar has the NFL shield logo patch on the base. The shortened and tailored sleeves have black ends and the back of the jersey has “R. LEWIS” sewn on in purple tackle twill on a matching white nameplate. The Adidas size 50 tag with a “4”L.B.” flag is sewn on the bottom front left tail. The team strip tag is sewn on the inside back collar and reads “00-50”. A great gamer from Lewis’ first championship season and it comes with a LOA from Sports Investors Authentication.
