Although Hall of Famer Mariano Rivera retired from baseball and the New York Yankees in 2013, he still is an active member of the franchise, particularly during spring training. Offered here is a game issued New York Yankees navy spring training jersey that was issued to the only unanimously elected Hall of Famer in 2016. This button-down navy Majestic size 46 jersey has the Yankees’ interlocking “NY” sewn on in white tackle twill on the upper left chest. The Majestic Flex Base tag is screen-printed on the lower front left tail and an additional Majestic bar code tag is applied vertically to the center front tail and reads “2016 46”. The back of the jersey has “42” sewn on in white patterned tackle twill and the MLB logo is sewn on in blue, white and gray above the number. The left sleeve has a black circle memorial patch with “8” in white in memory of Yogi Berra and the right sleeve has an “2016 FL” red and blue interstate patch. Rivera has signed his name in black marker on the center of the “4” on the back. This jersey comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (JB804211) and a LOA from Steiner Sports (027164) for the game issue.
