The 2013 Major League All-Star Game was played at Citi Field in New York, home of the Mets. This would be the last all-star game for unanimously elected Hall of Famer Mariano Rivera. This offered official lineup card is from the American League squad, who defeated the National League 3-0 with Rivera being named MVP.
This blue lineup card has “OFFICIAL BATTING ORDER (VISITING CLUB)” and “CLUB” American League (handwritten in blue pen). There are three columns “ORIGINAL”, “CHANGE” and “ALSO ELIGIBLE” with the dated handwritten in blue pen on the upper right “7/16/13”. The American League team lineup handwritten in blue pen and reads “Trout 7 Cano 4 Cabrera 5 Davis 3 Bautista 9 Ortiz DH Jones 8 Mauer 2 Hardy 6 Scherzer 1”. The card has been signed by AL Manager Jim Leyland on the “Manager’s Signature” line. This cared has some stains and is good overall condition. This comes with a LOA from JSA.
