Reagan retired from acting in 1965, and he became active in politics, being elected as Governor of California in 1966, and later as President of the United States in 1980. Presented in this lot are (27) original posters, lobby cards and advertisements from Ronald Reagans film career. The first eight items in this lot are (8) 1957 11 x 14-inch lobby cards from the film “Hellcats of the Navy” Starring Ronald Reagan. The ninth item in this lot is an 11 x 14-inch lobby card from the film “Bombs Over China” Starring Ronald Reagan and Rhonda Fleming. The 10th item in this lot is an 11 x 14-inch lobby card from the film “Sergeant Murphy” Starring Ronald Reagan.
