Offered in this lot is Chicago Bulls assistant coach Johnny Bach’s 1988-89 Bulls personal playbook, with his handwritten notes. Bach, a draft pick of the Boston Celtics in the 1948 BAA Draft, formed one of the best assistant coaching teams in NBA history alongside Phil Jackson and Tex Winter for the 1988-89 Bulls. Bach has numerous notes inside the playbook, including a list of team fines as well as a list of team goals for the following season. The NBA lifer has signed the cover of this playbook in gold pen.
